Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced professional to take on the role of Research Lead within our Gas Fundamentals team. This position will oversee the analytics operations in Houston, managing a team of three analysts dedicated to data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead comprehensive analysis of US natural gas fundamentals and pricing mechanisms.
  • Act as the primary analyst for market insights, producing regular reports and presentations.
  • Innovate and expand our content and data analysis services.
  • Provide insights through advanced visual analytics and interactive dashboards.
  • Examine vessel movements and market trends for a global clientele.
  • Coordinate efforts between the US gas team and international teams.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding data and market dynamics.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance business development.
  • Work with the broader commodities research team to implement best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy market analysis, particularly in North American gas markets.
  • In-depth knowledge of market drivers and pricing strategies.
  • Demonstrated capability to provide strategic insights and produce high-quality analytical reports.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and project management abilities.
  • Proficient in Excel, with experience in programming languages such as Python and VBA, as well as Power BI.
  • Degree in economics, business, mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with the US Gas market is essential.

This position operates on a hybrid work model, offering a competitive compensation package, including a base salary and performance-related bonuses.
