About the Role

Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist Level II to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Job Summary

The Surgical Technologist Level II will assist in providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and feeding.
  • Assist with vital sign measurements, height, and weight.
  • Participate in maintaining patient rooms in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Observe and report changes in patient conditions.
  • Assist with clerical work, including answering phones and maintaining medical records.
  • Perform duties as outlined in the scope of Nurse Aide I or Nurse Aide II tasks.
  • Administer 12-lead electrocardiogram tests and routine venipuncture with appropriate training.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I or with the North Carolina Board of Nursing as a Nurse Aide II.
  • BLS required per policy guidelines.
