About the Role

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist Level II to join our team in Los Angeles, California.

Job Summary

As a Surgical Technologist Level II, you will assist physicians during surgical procedures by performing scrub duties, maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during surgical procedures, including preparing and maintaining equipment, instruments, and supplies.
  • Ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment, adhering to strict sterile technique and infection control protocols.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including preparing patients for surgery, positioning them for procedures, and maintaining their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
  • Participate in departmental performance improvement activities, including quality improvement initiatives and education programs.
Requirements
  • Two (2) years of experience as a Surgical Technologist or equivalent military experience, including a variety of surgical procedures.
  • Graduate of an approved surgical technologist or military equivalent program.
  • Surgical Technologist Certificate from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or National Center for Competency Testing Certificate - Technologist in Surgery from National Center for Competency Testing.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
