About the Role

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist Level II to join our team in Irvine, California.

Job Summary

As a Surgical Technologist Level II, you will assist physicians during surgical procedures by performing scrub duties, maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during surgical procedures, including preparing and maintaining equipment, instruments, and supplies.
  • Ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment by maintaining asepsis, managing inventory, and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Provide exceptional patient care by communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.
  • Participate in departmental performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and surgical outcomes.
Requirements
  • Two years of experience as a Surgical Technologist or equivalent military experience.
  • Graduate of an approved surgical technologist program or military equivalent.
  • Surgical Technologist Certificate from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or National Center for Competency Testing.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
