Job SummaryAs a Surgical Technologist Level II, you will assist the physician during surgical procedures by performing scrub duties, ensuring a safe and efficient operating room environment. You will work closely with the surgical team to provide exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the physician during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and handling instruments with precision.
- Prepare and maintain the operating room, ensuring all equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
- Provide exceptional patient care, responding to their needs and concerns in a compassionate and professional manner.
- Participate in departmental performance improvement activities, identifying opportunities for growth and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety.
- Two (2) years of experience in operating room scrubbing or equivalent military experience, including a variety of surgical procedures.
- Graduate of an approved surgical technologist or military equivalent program.
- Surgical Technologist Certificate from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or National Center for Competency Testing Certificate - Technologist in Surgery.
- Basic Life Support certification.
