Key Responsibilities- Assist the surgical team in the operating room, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, adhering to infection control policies and regulatory standards.
- Participate in the perioperative phase of patient care, expediting surgical procedures under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure proper orientation and knowledge of equipment and instrumentation.
- Maintain inventory of clean and sterilized surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
