Job Overview

Position Title: Retail Operations Supervisor
Reports to: District Manager

Role Summary: The Retail Operations Supervisor is accountable for delivering outstanding customer service, overseeing the recruitment and development of team members, as well as managing merchandising and inventory processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inventory counts as necessary or as directed
  • Provide daily assistance to customers with product insights
  • Process customer transactions throughout the assigned shift
  • Facilitate shipments, including restocking sales floor inventory
  • Ensure the store is clean and well-organized
  • Recruit, manage, and train a team of 1-5 staff members
  • Execute daily bank deposits in accordance with company policy
  • Develop weekly and bi-weekly work schedules
  • Guide, train, and oversee store team members to uphold the highest standards of presentation and visual merchandising consistent with the RDA Woodlands LLC brand
  • Foster a hands-on supervisory environment that prioritizes sales floor management, customer engagement, and revenue generation
  • Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures effectively
  • Maintain sales and labor objectives through exceptional customer service, merchandising, and team management
  • Participate in sales and management training sessions and events as required by management

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in retail management
  • Proven track record in achieving sales and operational excellence through effective hiring, leadership, and development of store team members
  • Resourceful and adaptable with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in operating computerized cash register systems
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships across all management levels
  • Self-motivated with exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management capabilities
  • Ability to stand for more than 90% of the scheduled shift
  • Capability to lift 20lbs or more during the scheduled shift
  • High School diploma required
  • Reliable transportation for timely bank deposits
  • Cosmetology license is advantageous
