The Production Supervisor role involves supporting maintenance teams in executing troubleshooting, repairs, and retrofitting tasks in a safe, efficient, and precise manner. Responsibilities encompass daily production activities, employee scheduling, maintaining sanitation and quality standards, and collaborating with the Human Resource Department to secure temporary labor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels within the organization.
- Utilize the Daily Production Schedule to plan and direct daily activities of the manufacturing team; coordinate with human resources for additional temporary staffing as needed.
- Appropriately schedule employees to ensure completion of all daily manufacturing operations.
- Ensure all sanitation tasks are completed and that safety protocols are adhered to.
- Exhibit strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA guidelines and regulations.
- Oversee daily operations to guarantee that employees perform their duties efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards.
- Responsible for employee training, performance evaluations, hiring recommendations, promotions, raises, and disciplinary actions.
- Collaborate closely with production employees and assist in covering breaks as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to company policies by all employees.
- Provide feedback for continuous improvement and conduct annual performance reviews.
- Monitor workflow by tracking process steps; identify efficiency issues and propose improvements.
- Ensure safe equipment operation by requesting repairs when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Comply with state and federal laws, the Company Quality Program and procedures, and Safety and Environmental Regulations.
- May perform additional duties as directed by the Director of Operations.
Requirements and Skills:
- 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong communication and conflict resolution abilities.
- Leadership training experience.
- Familiarity with Global Shop or similar ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with OEE Reports.
- Knowledge of the 5S methodology.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principles.
- Ability to adapt to a changing work environment and manage frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry, and algebra for material fabrication calculations.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures.
Required Work Hours and Schedules:
- Monday through Friday
- 6 AM – 6 PM
- Occasional overtime and weekends may be required.
Salary: Based on experience.
