The Trauma Care Program Manager is tasked with the design, execution, and oversight of an efficient care system for trauma patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey.

This role requires collaboration with the trauma program medical director and various healthcare professionals, as well as management personnel, while also allowing for independent work.

The Trauma Care Program Manager is expected to be proactive and self-motivated, organizing and executing tasks with minimal supervision, while providing updates on progress to the nursing director.

This position demands specialized nursing expertise and knowledge, serving as a clinician, educator, researcher, and consultant to nursing staff, patients, and their families.


Qualifications:

Essential:
Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing (RN)

Experience:

Desirable:
A minimum of three (3) years in clinical or acute care settings.

Desirable:
Background in trauma, emergency, and/or critical care.

Desirable:
At least two (2) years in a leadership role.

Desirable:
Experience in program coordination, education, and clinical development.

Licenses/Certifications:

Mandatory:
  • Current licensure in professional nursing from the relevant state board or a compact RN license.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
  • Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
  • Current TNCC (Trauma Core Nursing Curriculum) certification.
