The Trauma Care Specialist is expected to be proactive and self-driven, managing tasks with minimal oversight while providing regular updates to nursing leadership.

This role demands specialized nursing expertise, serving as a clinician, educator, researcher, and consultant to nursing staff, patients, and their families.


Qualifications:

Essential:
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (RN)

Experience:

Desirable:
A minimum of three (3) years in clinical or acute care settings.

Desirable:
Background in trauma, emergency, and/or critical care.

Desirable:
At least two (2) years in a leadership capacity.

Desirable:
Experience in program coordination, education, and clinical development.

Licenses/Certifications:

Mandatory:
  • Valid nursing license from the appropriate state board or a compact RN license.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
