Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Security Technician to support various projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in security systems and access control technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, program, and configure access control systems, including card readers, electronic locks, and biometric readers.
  • Expertly install, service, and repair CCTV cameras and related systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing access control systems.
  • Perform site assessments to evaluate security requirements and plan installations accordingly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with access control systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Integrate access control systems with other security solutions, such as CCTV and alarm systems.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to understand project specifications.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of installations, configurations, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with services provided.
  • Stay informed about advancements in access control technology and implement new solutions in projects.
Qualifications:
  • At least two years of experience as an Access Control Technician or in a similar capacity.
  • Proficient with tools and equipment used in the installation and maintenance of access control systems.
  • Strong knowledge of access control systems, including card readers, electronic locks, and biometric readers.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Good physical condition, capable of lifting heavy objects and working in diverse environments.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in access control systems, such as Lenel, S2, or equivalent.
  • Experience with networking and IT systems.
  • Familiarity with construction techniques and industry standards.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with relevant software.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $28.00 per hour
