Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries, provide product information, and handle order entry with accuracy and efficiency.
- Place customer orders through various channels, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Influence gross profit through effective pricing negotiations and inventory management.
- Build strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and improve customer satisfaction.
- Source products from branch inventory, distribution centers, or suppliers to meet customer needs.
- Determine the most cost-effective shipping methods for customer orders.
- Collaborate with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues.
- Expedite backorders, prepare orders for shipment, and handle customer returns as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 0-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Basic computer skills, including information processing and business system usage.
- Product knowledge and experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
