Key Responsibilities

  • Place customer orders through various channels, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Influence gross profit through effective pricing negotiations and inventory management.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Source products from branch inventory, distribution centers, or suppliers to meet customer needs.
  • Determine the most cost-effective shipping methods for customer orders.
  • Collaborate with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues.
  • Expedite backorders, prepare orders for shipment, and handle customer returns as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 0-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Basic computer skills, including information processing and business system usage.
  • Product knowledge and experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
