Position Overview:

Absolute Business Solutions Corp (ABSC) is in search of a Cyber Security Specialist (Level II) to engage in a hybrid work environment. This role encompasses both on-site and remote responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of cyber information assurance (IA) and security protocols.
  • Oversee, design, and assess security initiatives within the organization.
  • Conduct analysis, design, and development of security functionalities.
  • Evaluate general information assurance-related technical challenges and offer foundational engineering and technical support to address these issues.
  • Perform vulnerability and risk assessments of systems and applications throughout all stages of the system development life cycle.
  • Assist in the management and escalation of security incidents in accordance with a tiered Incident Response framework.
  • Possess experience in threat analysis, hunting, and familiarity with various SIEMs and analyst detection workflows in cloud environments.
  • Engage in entry-level or developmental assignments, focusing on building and deploying cloud security infrastructure while automating security operations for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with the capability to obtain and sustain CI Poly is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in cyber security is essential.
  • Possession of one of the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner+ (CASP+ ce), or Certified Authorization Professional (CAP).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting agencies such as DIA, NGA, or NRO is advantageous.
  • Experience working with DoD clients is preferred.
