Position Overview

We are in search of an Information Security Specialist who will be responsible for designing, testing, staging, and deploying cyber security-related systems and services across various virtual, container, and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult and maintain relevant operating systems on organizational computer systems, along with all third-party software components and subsystems.
  • Update and maintain documentation regarding the configuration of supported systems, and conduct research and analysis on cloud computing platforms to assist engineering and integration requirements for cyber security-related systems and services.
  • Engage in research and development of custom configurations tailored to meet specific mission needs.
  • Design integrations between systems that support cyber security initiatives.
  • Identify and address gaps in cyber security posture, technologies, and response capabilities.
  • Plan, test, install, and integrate new and upgraded versions of relevant cyber security systems and services on organizational computer systems, third-party software components, and subsystems.
  • Research and resolve system issues efficiently and accurately while adhering to internal software management standards and procedures.
  • Test and integrate software and services throughout the DevOps lifecycle.
  • Maintain technical expertise in relevant industry standards and in multi-cloud computing and virtualization technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
  • Experience with Linux operating systems is essential.
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or MS Azure is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR) is advantageous.
