Position Overview:
Absolute Business Solutions Corp (ABSC) is in search of a Cyber Security Specialist (Level II) to engage in a hybrid work environment. This role involves both on-site and remote responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the formulation and execution of cyber information assurance (IA) and security protocols.
- Coordinate, design, and assess security initiatives within the organization.
- Conduct analysis, design, and development of security features.
- Evaluate general information assurance-related technical challenges and provide foundational engineering and technical support.
- Perform vulnerability and risk assessments of systems and applications throughout the system development life cycle.
- Assist in the management and escalation of security incidents utilizing a tiered Incident Response framework.
- Possess experience in threat analysis, hunting, and familiarity with various SIEMs and analyst detection workflows in cloud environments.
- Engage in entry-level or developmental assignments.
- Build and implement cloud security frameworks and automate security operations for clients.
Qualifications:
- Must hold an Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with the capability to obtain and maintain CI Poly.
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in cyber security is essential.
- Possession of one of the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner+ (CASP+ ce), or Certified Authorization Professional (CAP).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting DIA, NGA, or NRO is preferred.
- Prior experience with DoD clientele is advantageous.
