Position Overview:
The Senior Program Manager for Weapons Systems is responsible for the design, execution, and oversight of organizational initiatives that align with corporate objectives. This role requires the application of advanced theories, principles, and concepts to contribute to the evolution of new methodologies and strategies. The manager will lead the development of solutions to intricate challenges, exercising considerable autonomy in decision-making and oversight of first-level supervisors or managers.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a senior leader in PEO USC, PEO Ships, or SEA 21.
- In-depth knowledge of shipbuilding processes, weapons system acquisition, and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to engage in business development initiatives.
- Possession of a Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience serving as a major program manager or deputy program manager within PEO USC, PEO Ships, or SEA 21.
- Familiarity with business development, capture strategies, and proposal formulation.
- Capacity to build and lead teams focused on securing new opportunities.
- TS/SCI security clearance.
- Master's degree in Business or a related discipline.
- DAWIA Level III Certification in Program Management, Production, Quality, and Manufacturing, Engineering, or Test and Evaluation.
Security Clearance:
Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
