Position Overview:

Humana is in search of a Senior Executive Talent Acquisition Leader who will collaborate with top management to attract exceptional talent for critical positions, particularly at the SVP and VP levels, including confidential roles.

The successful candidate will oversee and manage the Executive Recruitment Process from the initial strategy session to the final placement of candidates. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HR team members and key stakeholders to align candidate sourcing with specific position requirements.
  • Conduct prescreening of candidates by evaluating resumes and credentials to ensure alignment with position qualifications.
  • Identify and source candidates for select roles through various digital platforms, sourcing channels, and outreach efforts.
  • Maintain organized and accurate documentation of all candidates and search tools within the organization's applicant tracking system.
  • Engage in Talent Acquisition initiatives and oversee special projects.
  • Manage relationships with third-party search firms for executive engagement.
  • Provide a personalized and exceptional candidate experience.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential candidate searches with discretion.
  • Utilize diverse sourcing and networking strategies to attract both active and passive candidates.
  • Ensure that recruitment processes are executed with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
  • Coordinate with the Executive Onboarding team to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience.
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of recruitment experience.
  • 5+ years of executive recruiting experience, either in-house or with a retained search firm.
  • Proven experience in managing the search process with retained firms.
  • Experience in negotiating and executing contracts with retained firms.
  • Familiarity with executive search protocols for VP, SVP, and C-Suite roles, including confidential positions.
  • Strong work ethic and proactive approach, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-level executive searches simultaneously.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and relationship management with various stakeholders.
  • Effective communication skills to partner with senior executive leaders.
  • Ability to adapt to changing deadlines and priorities in recruiting engagements.
  • Experience in corporate recruiting or retained firm environments.
  • Proven ability to source and nurture candidate pipelines for both active and passive searches.
  • Strong consultation skills to influence senior leaders.
  • Ability to leverage market trends and intelligence to drive the recruiting process.
  • Deep understanding of executive compensation and negotiation strategies.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in recruiting within the health solutions or insurance sectors.
  • Knowledge of talent management and succession planning.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Compensation: $102,200 - $140,700 annually, with eligibility for a bonus incentive plan based on performance.
