STARLUX Airlines is a newly established airline based in Taipei, Taiwan, dedicated to creating exceptional travel experiences. We are seeking a qualified professional for the position of Cargo Operations Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

Cargo Operations Management

1. Cargo Operations Duties

  • Undergo training on the company’s cargo operations system, including handling dangerous goods, and successfully complete all related assessments;
  • Oversee the Ground Handling Agent (GHA): ensure compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies, and facilitate communication regarding cargo operations;
  • Manage export and import airline operations, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Maintain oversight of Unit Load Device (ULD) and accessory inventory;
  • Address cargo discrepancies and resolve customer issues;
  • Be available for rotating shifts, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays;
  • Possess reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for commuting between various operational locations.

2. Initial Setup Responsibilities

  • Act as a local point of contact, collaborating with the headquarters' cargo division to finalize GHA selection;
  • Assist in developing local cargo operations SOPs and procedures.

3. Additional Duties

Perform other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership, multitasking, communication, and coordination abilities;
  • Ability to respond swiftly to challenges, problem-solve effectively, and work collaboratively;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship;
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred.
