Key Responsibilities of the Operations Supervisor
As the Operations Supervisor, you will hold paramount authority over all onsite personnel, including direct hires and subcontractors. You will be primarily accountable for project safety, scheduling, and overall site management. Your leadership will guide General Foremen, Foremen, and the Safety Supervisor, all of whom will report directly to you, while you will report to the Project Manager. Your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:
- Overseeing daily construction activities to ensure adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality benchmarks
- Conducting and managing all Vendor Field Coordination Meetings
- Updating and distributing all Project Schedules
- Handling labor relations on-site
- Implementing and managing all safety protocols and procedures
- Preparing and disseminating daily field work reports
- Utilizing effective verbal and written communication skills
- Monitoring project progress and managing modifications
Opportunity Overview for the Operations Supervisor
- Base Salary Range: $125k - $160k, depending on experience

Qualifications & Preferences for the Operations Supervisor
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (as mandated by the United States Department of Defense)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Superintendent/Supervisor in commercial construction
- At least 5 years of experience in commercial construction as an (Assistant) Project Superintendent is preferred
- 3+ years of leadership experience on job sites with a commercial General Contractor
- 2+ years of experience leading subcontractors, union, and self-perform teams is preferred
- 2+ years of experience in Manufacturing/Industrial Construction is highly preferred
- Experience in leading self-perform teams (concrete, ironworkers, carpentry) is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, both on and off the job site
- Ability to maintain a calm and rational demeanor while being assertive
- Strong skills and comprehensive knowledge of construction practices and methodologies
- Demonstrated career progression in Authority, Responsibility, and Accountability
- Current CPR/First Aid certification is encouraged
