Job Title: Global Sourcing MRO Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic MRO Global Sourcing Specialist to join our team at DSJ Global. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, particularly within the power generation sector, and possess the ability to manage sourcing activities on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Global Sourcing Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies for MRO products and services to optimize our maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supply chain.
  • Conduct Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, ensuring the best value and terms for our organization.
  • Negotiate Contracts and Pricing Agreements: Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to ensure the best value and terms, while maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and operations, to understand sourcing needs and specifications, ensuring seamless integration with our business operations.
  • Monitor Supplier Performance: Monitor supplier performance and implement improvements as needed to ensure quality and compliance, maintaining a high level of supplier satisfaction.
  • Manage the Procurement Process: Manage the procurement process, including purchase orders, inventory levels, and supplier relations, ensuring efficient and effective sourcing activities.
  • Analyze Procurement Data: Analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for process improvement, informing strategic sourcing decisions.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations in all sourcing activities, maintaining a high level of regulatory compliance.
  • Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics within the power generation sector, ensuring our organization remains competitive and innovative.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, with a focus on MRO in the power generation industry.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships, ensuring effective contract negotiations.
  • Procurement Software: Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, ensuring efficient and effective sourcing activities.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate and informed sourcing decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams, ensuring seamless integration with our business operations.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices related to MRO procurement, ensuring compliance and regulatory adherence.
Preferred Qualifications:
