Senior Associate Procurement Analyst
Job Summary:
L3Harris is seeking a Senior Associate Procurement Analyst to plan and procure materials, services, and supplies to support production. This role involves coordinating activities with vendors, reviewing requisitions, and maintaining procurement records.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate procurement activities, including raw materials, equipment, and supplies.
2. Review requisitions and confer with vendors to obtain product or service information.
3. Maintain procurement records, including items purchased, costs, delivery, product quality, and inventories.
4. Prepare purchase orders or bid requests and distribute copies according to purchasing policies.
5. Discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine the source of trouble and take corrective action.
6. Approve and submit invoices for payment.
7. Expedite delivery of goods to users.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years prior related experience. Graduate degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Skills:
Demonstrated understanding of the Program Office and Project Management roles within an integrated product team (IPT) environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent computer skills and Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Project skills. Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of government contracting requirements, FAR, and other pertinent government flow down required. Knowledge of process and documentation required for POs over TINA strongly preferred. Experience with the Aerospace industry. Experience with DoD contractor work environment. Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint.
