We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Procurement Specialist to join our team at Mechanical One. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing purchase requisitions, managing purchase orders, and ensuring the timely delivery of electrical materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute purchase requisitions and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of electrical materials.
  • Maintain accurate open purchase order lines with vendors, including inbound quantities and due dates.
  • Escalate issues to leadership and commercial partners as needed.
  • Support the onboarding and training of new suppliers to ensure operational excellence and compliance with Mechanical One's processes and policies.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction solutions to improve the organization's supply chain.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain and Operations, Business Administration, or Business Management.
  • 3+ years of experience in direct electrical material sourcing, purchasing, inventory management, or material planning in a manufacturing and/or construction industry.
  • Ability to manage the end-to-end purchasing cycle.
  • Demonstrated vendor management skills and excellent negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems and MS Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Supervisory experience and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player with a great attitude and strong work ethic.
