About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to join our Enrollment and Attendance team at Memphis-Shelby County Schools. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our department, ensuring the smooth operation of our enrollment and attendance processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general office and clerical support to the Enrollment and Attendance team, including filing, mail distribution, and telephone coverage.
  • Schedule disciplinary hearings for students and maintain accurate records of student discipline hearings.
  • Coordinate appointments for enrollment, problems, safety concerns, and complaints.
  • Perform a range of assignments, including data entry, record-keeping, and other administrative tasks.
  • Exercise initiative in completing recurring assignments and use judgment in selecting appropriate guidelines and procedures.
  • Identify issues or problems and seek assistance from higher-level personnel or management as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School diploma or GED, plus an additional 2 years of related experience for a total education/experience of 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
