Job Summary

Crawford Thomas Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborative Goal Setting: Work closely with the Pharmacy Manager to establish and monitor pharmacy goals, ensuring consistent progress and reporting.
  • Business Growth: Contribute to the development and implementation of growth initiatives for the pharmacy, driving revenue and market share.
  • Financial Oversight: Provide input on pharmacy finances and budget management, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee internal pharmacy processes and operations to maintain high standards of service, quality, and patient satisfaction.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Foster a customer-centric culture, ensuring that all pharmacy staff members are accountable for decisions that impact our customers.
  • Team Engagement: Conduct regular meetings with pharmacy staff to foster cooperation, goal achievement, and a positive work environment.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with all pharmacy staff members, seeking their input and collaboration to drive success.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with practitioners to enhance organizational processes and improve patient outcomes, staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure ongoing compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and accreditation standards, implementing best practices to maintain a high level of quality and safety.
  • Delegation: Delegate responsibilities as needed to ensure timely and accurate completion of pharmacy operations, promoting a culture of accountability and ownership.
  • Pharmacist Duties: Perform standard pharmacist duties as required, including dispensing medications, counseling patients, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies and take appropriate actions based on recommendations, ensuring continuous quality improvement.
  • Performance Improvement: Engage in the pharmacy's Performance Improvement program as requested by Human Resources, driving process improvements and enhancing patient care.
  • Professional Development: Participate in professional and industry organization activities, as well as in-service and continuing education programs, staying current with industry developments and best practices.
  • Ad-Hoc Tasks: Fulfill any other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or other authorized personnel.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Pharmacy degree and State Licensure.
  • Strong organizational and delegation skills.
  • Experience in conflict resolution and disciplinary processes.
  • Organizational skills to maintain accurate records.
  • Current knowledge of applicable state and federal pharmacy laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly standing, walking, sitting, talking, and hearing.
  • Using hands to operate office equipment and vehicles.
  • Occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 30 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
