Position Overview:
The Site Director will oversee the daily operations of our afterschool program, located in Suffolk, VA. Candidates should possess prior experience in childcare management and demonstrate leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of Guides to deliver exciting and enriching activities for students.
- Collaborate with fellow staff and leadership to ensure smooth program operations.
- Train Guides on effective methods to engage children in various activities.
- Foster creativity and curiosity by establishing clubs that cater to students' interests.
- Create a nurturing environment that promotes positive relationships among staff, children, and parents.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in a childcare management role or relevant educational background.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule.
- Successful completion of a background check as per state regulations.
