RN - Patient Care Supervisor - Full Time Days

As a Patient Care Supervisor at Sentara Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This position requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to make administrative decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Administer the hospital as the representative for the administrator on call, making administrative decisions as needed.
- Provide clinical expertise and serve as a resource to nursing staff, physicians, and the public.
- Coordinate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate patient placement and ensure efficient care delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience and 1 year of nursing leadership experience.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or a compact state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
