Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team at Southland Transportation. This role is essential for fostering strong relationships with our clients and ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients through various communication channels, including phone, email, and online chat, to provide assistance and information regarding our services.
- Manage and process load orders using our transportation management software, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues, escalating to appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
- Collaborate with Operations and Business Development teams to understand and fulfill customer requirements.
- Conduct regular outreach to clients to strengthen relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Provide accurate quotes for services and follow up on outstanding bids.
- Prepare weekly reports on customer responses and interactions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience in customer service, preferably within the transportation or logistics sector.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Proficient in computer applications and quick to learn new software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
