Client Support Specialist

To deliver exceptional service and assistance to both new and existing clients, ensuring that profitability and growth targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in sales initiatives and long-term strategies to improve business performance and meet objectives related to profitability, cost management, and operational efficiency.
- Investigate and respond to inquiries from clients, underwriters, and external parties.
- Provide guidance to clients on insurance coverage and risk management matters.
- Facilitate policy modifications and terminations.
- Address claims and billing questions.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with insurance providers and underwriters.
3. Promptly report any situations that could result in potential or actual errors and omissions claims or any related complaints to the department manager.
4. Undertake additional duties as assigned or requested.
Performance Standards
- Achieve all performance and conduct expectations as outlined in the company’s performance evaluation documentation or communicated by management.
- Execute responsibilities as directed, achieving desired outcomes within established timelines and with a high level of quality and professionalism.
- Establish and maintain constructive and productive working relationships with all colleagues, clients, and business partners.
- Exhibit the necessary behavioral and technical competencies to effectively fulfill job responsibilities. Take personal initiative for professional and technical growth.
- Adhere to company HR policies, the Code of Business Conduct, and all subsidiary and departmental guidelines, including safeguarding confidential company information, maintaining punctuality and regular attendance, and following safe practices in all activities.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience and knowledge.
- Two years of successful service experience within an independent agency (or equivalent).
- Property and Casualty License.
- Comprehensive understanding of insurance agency operations, claims processing, coverage options, rates, markets, and relevant insurance regulations.
- Thorough knowledge of all personal lines insurance products, particularly those offered through HomeServices Insurance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in automation, time management, and organizational capabilities.
- Familiarity with risk assessment and management strategies.
