  • Manage executives' schedules, calendars, and appointments
  • Anticipate and prepare materials needed by the supervisor for conferences, correspondence, appointments, meetings, telephone calls, etc.
  • Read publications, regulations, and directives, and take action or refer those that are important to the supervisor and staff
  • Compose correspondence on own initiative about administrative matters and general office policies for supervisor's approval
  • Prepare special or one-time reports, summaries, or replies to inquiries, selecting relevant information from a variety of sources
  • Knowledge of DoD office procedures and software programs (ERP, LOCUS, DTS) to complete tasking as required in support of the customer needs
  • Advises individuals outside the organization on the executive's views on major policies or current issues facing the organization
  • Contacts or responds to contact from high-ranking outside officials in unique situations, using judgment and discretion
  • Use greater judgment and initiative to determine the approach or action to take in non-routine situations

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 5+ years' of senior level administrative support
  • 5+ years' Microsoft Office 365 Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, and PowerPoint
  • 5+ years' operating various office equipment: copiers, fax machines, typewriter, scanner, and telephone answering systems
  • Must be a US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AA degree in Business Administration preferred
  • 5+ years experience working in DoD or government environment
  • 5+ years experience with DoD terminology, correspondence, and filing standards
  • 5+ years experience utilizing the Department of Defense (DoD) Defense Travel System (DTS)
  • 5+ years experience utilizing DoD software programs such as ERP, LOCUS, and DTS
