Position Overview

As a Client Relations Specialist at Verano, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction and success of our dispensary partners. This position is essential in providing outstanding service to dispensary personnel, executing effective in-store promotions, and nurturing strong connections with our clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication abilities, a genuine enthusiasm for the cannabis sector, and a commitment to maintaining brand integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for dispensary personnel, offering prompt assistance, addressing questions, and delivering thorough product insights.

• Collaborate with the Marketing team to implement in-store promotions and events designed to enhance brand visibility and boost sales within dispensaries.

• Manage the distribution of promotional materials and items to dispensary staff to strengthen brand recognition and encourage loyalty.

• Regularly review dispensary menus to ensure accurate representation of our product lineup and make timely updates as needed.

• Conduct training sessions and provide educational resources to dispensary staff to improve product knowledge and sales effectiveness.

• Organize and lead in-store training initiatives to inform dispensary staff about product features, advantages, and best practices for sales and customer service.

• Maintain reliable transportation to visit various dispensary locations for in-person interactions and activations.

• Occasionally supply food or beverage items during in-store promotions or training sessions to enhance the customer experience.

• Collect feedback from dispensary staff regarding our products, services, and overall customer experience to identify improvement areas and inform strategic decisions. Track and report on key performance indicators such as event participation, sales conversions, and customer feedback.

• Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and community gatherings, networking with potential customers and partners to expand brand outreach.

• Uphold a positive and professional image of the brand, adhering to company values and guidelines, including appropriate attire.

• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to ensure our brand remains competitive and compliant.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in marketing or business.
  • Prior experience in customer service, sales, or marketing, preferably within the cannabis sector.
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • High level of integrity and strict adherence to confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with a capacity for change management.
  • Solid project management, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Effective consultative and influencing approach, with a proven ability to collaborate with all organizational levels.

Physical and Mental Demands

While performing the duties of this role, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally lift packages weighing up to 50 lb. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close observation and the ability to adjust focus.
