POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as the financial partner for the North America and Latin America sales teams at JLG. This role is pivotal in providing accounting and financial services that align with the organization's strategic goals. Responsibilities include executing general accounting functions, conducting account reconciliations, and preparing financial statements and analytical reports. The analyst will also perform monthly analysis, forecasting, and lead the annual budgeting process for designated responsibilities.
KEY IMPACT AREAS:

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth and prepare monthly performance reports for management.
- Engage with various departments to address complex business matters affecting financial forecasts.
- Facilitate optimal capital allocation for both internal and external stakeholders, developing and maintaining budgets and forecasts.
- Support management in planning, measuring, and reporting performance, identifying opportunities to enhance profitability through pricing strategies or cost efficiencies.
- Oversee the monthly closing process for assigned areas, ensuring compliance with corporate accounting policies.
- Mentor and guide junior financial analysts.
- Assist in managing business systems and procedures, validating the effectiveness of new processes, and updating compliance documentation as necessary.
- Develop user-friendly systems and metrics, supervising shared services tasks in accordance with established guidelines.
- Monitor key operational benchmarks, leading root cause analyses and formulating action plans as required.
- Champion the Oshkosh People First competencies to engage and develop team members.
- Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives while utilizing Continuous Improvement Management System (CIMS) tools to devise innovative solutions that enhance efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is required, along with a minimum of six years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
ADDITIONAL ATTRIBUTES:
Preferred candidates will have at least two years of experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary, along with familiarity with U.S. and international accounting standards.
