Job Title: HIV Services Planner

Join our team at the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services as we seek a highly skilled HIV Services Planner to support our efforts in HIV/STD care and prevention planning in Texas.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to serve as an HIV Services Planner. This role will involve supporting, directing, and monitoring administrative agencies and other stakeholders engaged in HIV/STD care and prevention planning in Texas. The successful candidate will have a strong background in public health, program planning, and management, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive plans to address HIV/STD services and prevention needs in Texas.
  • Provide technical assistance to administrative agencies and other stakeholders to support planning operations and projects.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform planning strategies and identify best practices in HIV/STD prevention and services delivery.
  • Facilitate meetings and workgroups to gather input and achieve consensus among stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on HIV/STD planning processes and data.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in public health, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in public health program planning and management.
  • Strong knowledge of HIV/STD prevention and services delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
