  • Research questions and issues relating to employee benefits and human resources and provide solutions and recommendations and analyses to account teams and clients.
  • Assist the Director of Compliance in completion of compliance/risk assessments for clients and provide recommendations and solutions to clients to maintain compliant benefit programs.
  • Assist the Director of Compliance in conducting staff and client training and education.
  • Write and review blog articles, monthly compliance updates and alerts, reference guides, FAQ documents, compliance checklists, model notice packets and other ad hoc client facing and internal communications.
  • Read legislative and regulatory updates and articles daily to keep abreast of ever-changing employee benefits legislation and provide analyses of changes and key steps for clients to take to comply with changing regulations.
  • Attend and/or run client calls and meetings to engage with clients, answer questions and provide legislative updates and recommendations.
  • Attend and/or run client facing webinars on regulatory and legislative issues affecting employee benefits compliance.

  • Bachelor's degree required; JD Preferred
  • 2+ years employee benefits and/or human resources compliance related experience in ERISA, ACA, CAA, HIPAA, COBRA, and IRS and state benefits legislation compliance
