Faculty Position in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology

We are seeking a highly qualified researcher to join our team in the Department of Nutrition and Exercise Physiology at the University of Missouri School of Medicine & MU Health Care. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nutrition and exercise physiology and a proven track record of research excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in nutrition and exercise physiology, with a focus on metabolism, obesity, type 2 diabetes, neuroscience, cardiovascular disease, and lifestyle factors.
  • Develop and implement research projects, including study design, data collection, and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with faculty members in the Department of Nutrition and Exercise Physiology and across campus to advance research goals.
  • Contribute to the educational missions of the department, including teaching and mentoring graduate and medical students.
Qualifications
  • PhD in nutrition, exercise physiology, or a closely related field.
  • Postdoctoral research experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to obtain extramural funding.
  • Publications in high-impact journals.
