Empowering Recovery in a Supportive Environment

At The Emily Program, we're dedicated to providing exceptional care for individuals struggling with eating disorders. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you'll play a vital role in our residential program, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to support clients in their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and assist clients in the residential milieu, promoting a safe and supportive environment.
  • Lead activities designed to help clients adjust to living in a community setting and develop essential skills for managing their eating disorder.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in therapeutic meals and snacks, providing support during structured outings and recreation.
  • Document observations and client progress, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a mental health field preferred.
  • One year of mental health experience or equivalent required; previous direct mental health experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and authorization to drive required.
