LPN Night Shift Position

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Ascension Recovery Services in Columbus, Indiana. As an LPN, you will play a critical role in providing medical care and support to individuals battling substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough medical assessments for patients during the intake process, including taking vitals, interviewing, annotating medical history, and performing drug screenings.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on medication adherence and relevant health information, contributing to their overall care plans.
  • Generate and review monthly medication administration records (MARs) and reconcile them with records provided by authorized pharmacists.
  • Assist with daily operations, including supporting Recovery Support Specialists, handling front desk inquiries, and performing various administrative tasks.
  • Aid in diagnostic tests and procedures, providing essential support to the medical team.
  • Offer education and support to patients and their families, enhancing their understanding of treatment and recovery.
Requirements:
  • Current Practical Nurse license for the state of Indiana.
  • 6+ months of experience as a licensed LPN, with a preference for experience in substance use disorder or behavioral health settings.
  • Ability to work independently, read and interpret documents, and handle various tasks with professionalism and flexibility.
