Job Summary

We're seeking a visionary Nurse Practitioner to lead our program strategies, oversee operations, and drive clinical excellence. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to shape our program and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of clients
  • Prescribe and administer medications in collaboration with the supervising physician
  • Supervise nursing staff on dispensing operations as needed
  • Complete medical records and reports and provide necessary referrals to medical services and primary care providers
  • Coordinate patient care with the Primary Care Physician (PCP) or other physicians prescribing opiates or psychoactive medication
  • Participate in case planning and consultation with lead counselors, facility/executive directors, project directors, and medical directors as needed
  • Educate clients on treatment options and provide strength-based, empathetic care
  • Respond to emergency situations with appropriate evaluation and management
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing required
  • Valid Professional License/Certification for the state in which duties are performed
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) preferred
  • Data Waiver (must be completed before date of hire)
  • 2+ years of experience in substance use disorder or behavioral health preferred
  • Eligible for DEA license
  • Knowledge of psychotropic medication administration and practice
  • Competency in behavioral health and addiction treatment
  • Must have or be able to obtain current First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of hire
