Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Donor Program Coordinator to join our team at CooperCompanies. As a key member of our Donor Program, you will be responsible for managing the entire sperm donor qualification process, from initial screening to final approval.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen and qualify potential donor applications according to established guidelines and protocols.
  • Coordinate and manage the donor qualification process, including scheduling and conducting new donor orientations, obtaining necessary consents, and compiling donor charts.
  • Collaborate with the Donor and Marketing Departments to ensure the success of donor recruitment events and activities.
  • Provide clinical, educational, and emotional support to donors throughout the donation process.
  • Manage donor disqualification process and oversee the entering and removing of donors in our Identification System.
  • Coordinate active donors in the donor program, including monitoring vial limits, donation frequency, and specimen quality.
  • Oversee donor follow-up, including inactive donors, overdue blood draws, and eligibility assessments.
  • Process retired donors and coordinate donor re-entry and updates to donor records as needed.
  • Manage donor payroll and oversee department supplies, including forms, donor refreshments, and office supplies.
  • Prepare donor activity monthly reports and provide back-up coverage for donor desk and overall branch operations as needed.
Requirements
  • Ability to speak and write English effectively and communicate professionally with clients and external contacts.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to analyze data, carry out instructions, and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as HRIS and web-based HR Systems.
  • Excellent project management and customer service skills, with a high level of interpersonal skills to interact with peers and management.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proactive nature and ability to take initiative, with a high level of confidentiality.
  • Three to five years related experience and/or training, with a Bachelor's degree in Science preferred.
