Job Summary

Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donation Services Associate to join our team. As a key member of our donation processing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to donors, processing donations, and maintaining a clean and organized donation area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet donors at their vehicle, provide outstanding customer service, and thank donors for their donations.
  • Donation Processing: Assist in unloading acceptable donations in a timely and courteous manner, prepare records and reports as requested, and maintain accurate counts of donors.
  • Donation Area Maintenance: Keep the donation area neat, clean, and orderly, ensure donations are secure and properly sorted, and maintain equipment in good working order.
  • Communication: Call the supervisor at the beginning of each shift to report in and advise of the condition of the donation site and donor counts.
  • Teamwork: Assist in other areas of the store as needed and attend department, organization, and other meetings/training as required.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous customer service or donation processing experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
  • Certifications: Must pass a background check and comply with all Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest policies, CARF standards, and safety regulations.
