Position Overview
  • Thoroughly train all new and existing personnel to meet Equinox standards.
  • Alert the maintenance manager to any operational challenges.
  • Assist the maintenance manager with club-related special initiatives (floor cleaning, high dusting, advanced equipment repairs, etc.).
  • Examine and maintain all cleaning apparatus utilized by club staff (mop pads, buckets, floor scrubbers, ladders, dollies, hand trucks, rags, etc.).
  • Conduct daily inspections and repairs of all club equipment (cardio/strength machines, cardio theater systems, climate control, and audio systems).
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of all cleaning supplies and recommended chemicals.
  • Oversee inventory management, restocking, and replacement of all maintenance supplies (lighting, locker room items, laundry supplies, maintenance chemicals, towels, etc.).
  • Execute all other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following minimum qualifications:
  • Understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Experience with cleaning products.
  • Ability to organize tasks effectively.
  • Capability to service athletic equipment (when applicable).
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to collaborate as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills with the Maintenance Manager.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.

Pay Transparency - $15.50-$18/hour
