Job Summary

As a key member of the Air Methods team, the Account Executive will be responsible for building and executing sales plans in collaboration with senior executives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and a proven track record of success in sales. This role requires a self-starter with a competitive spirit, who is dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow business by selling Air Methods' air medical services to targeted customers in the sales area.
  • Cultivate opportunities to sell Air Methods' value-added services to customers within the area.
  • Work closely with senior executives to provide timely updates on business opportunities and market intelligence.
  • Collaborate with area managers to develop business development strategies and ensure existing accounts meet key performance indicators.
  • Stay up-to-date on market dynamics, including competitor activity, hospital service line changes, and regulatory updates.
  • Coordinate customer service recovery efforts and monitor daily patient transport activity.
  • Manage marketing resources and communicate with internal stakeholders to support business initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Three to five years of sales experience, preferably in the aviation or medical transportation industry.
  • Demonstrated understanding of healthcare and air medical industries.
  • Strong critical thinking and reasoning skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
