Clinical Account Executive Hospice Specialist

About the Role:
Amedisys is seeking a skilled Clinical Account Executive Hospice to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for educating healthcare professionals, patients, and families about our home care services.
Responsibilities:
- Educate healthcare professionals, patients, and families about home care services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key referral sources, such as hospitals, nursing homes, and physician offices to generate leads.
- Coordinate patient admissions with the team, including obtaining all required documentation to complete the referral to admission process.
- Conduct on-site visits to assess patient needs and identify barriers to care.
- Keep accurate records of patient interactions and referrals.
- Achieve admissions, product, and payor-mix goals.
- Meet short and long-term target account goals.
- Document the minimum expectation of sales calls daily in CRM (including pre and post call notes).
- Maintain a complete, up-to-date record of targeted referral sources in territory in CRM.
- Attend community events to promote Amedisys.
- Respond to customer complaints in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare-related business development/outreach role.
- Current RN or LPN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work.
- Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and liability insurance.
