Job Title: Account Manager/Outside Sales

Border States Electric is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager/Outside Sales professional to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing assigned customer account relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting our products and services to maximize customer sales potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and objectives
  • Penetrate and grow current and prospect medium opportunity accounts
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize customer sales potential
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies
Requirements:
  • Four-year business, sales, marketing, or trade degree or equivalent experience
  • Two years of prior distribution, customer service, marketing, quotation, or sales experience preferred
  • Experience with contract negotiation and presentation skills
  • Strong working knowledge of PC for Windows, Microsoft Office, and SAP software
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
