Administrative Coordinator

This administrative position is an excellent opportunity to join the City of Amarillo team as a Records Management Assistant. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, maintain accurate records, and perform various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide professional customer service to the public, responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, scanning documents, and preparing reports.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred.
- Must be able to type 20 words per minute and operate a personal computer efficiently.
- Previous experience dealing with the public and working in an office environment is essential.
This position requires sitting for extended periods, occasional standing, and lifting light objects (up to 10 pounds). A comfortable working environment with moderate noise levels is provided.
Compensation and BenefitsThe salary for this position is estimated at $12 per hour, based on industry standards and local market conditions. Additionally, the City of Amarillo offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
