Supervisory Responsibilities: None

HealthPartners is presenting a unique opportunity for a Healthcare Support Specialist to become part of our dedicated team. This role entails assisting at our vaccination clinic and engaging in patient outreach initiatives. The successful candidate should be prepared to work 3-4 days a week on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safeguard the confidentiality of sensitive patient information
  • Execute pre-visit planning and Care Model Process workflows
  • Ensure precise charting and documentation
  • Gather health history and vital signs
  • Conduct routine office procedures and testing
  • Identify patient education requirements and provide guidance
  • Maintain and sanitize examination rooms
  • Oversee supplies and manage inventory
  • Adhere to OSHA and infection control protocols
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives
  • Support the orientation and training of new staff

Customer Service and Collaboration:

  • Welcome patients warmly and ensure a positive experience
  • Collaborate effectively in patient care transitions for continuity
  • Advocate for patient rights and confidentiality
  • Honor and appreciate diversity
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and attitude
  • Encourage teamwork and constructive communication

Required Qualifications:

  • LPN (Current MN License) or equivalent certification
  • CMA (Current AAMA Certification) or equivalent
  • RMA (Current AMT Certification) or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited EMT program with a valid license
  • CPR Certification is mandatory

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities
  • Knowledge of regulations and procedures related to patient care
  • Familiarity with medical equipment and safety protocols
  • Capability to maintain records and respond to inquiries
  • Expertise in developing and sustaining quality assurance
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to remain composed in emergency situations
  • Flexibility and quick decision-making skills
