WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • Field technical inquiries for the operation, diagnosis, and repair of nVent/HOFFMAN air conditioners
  • Maintain a high level of internal and external communication via phone or e-mail
  • Submit repair quotations for non-warranty services
  • Collect, compile, and coordinate all support data and technical information required to accurately substantiate, submit, and recover warranty claims
  • Lead and/or participate in special projects
  • Process field service requests for customers
  • Works with Sales, Marketing, Production, Shipping, and other operating functions regarding product, delivery, or service matters
YOU HAVE:
  • AA technical degree or 2+ years of technical product-related experience preferred
  • HVAC or electrical product troubleshooting experience preferred
  • Experience in customer service or sales support
  • Knowledge of line and low-voltage electrical circuits and the ability to interpret and understand product drawings preferred
  • Skill in identifying root causes of problems/issues and developing recommendations for resolution
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
