Position Overview:
The primary objective of this role is to manage the labor relations function within the Energy Services division. This includes fostering positive labor-management relations through effective collaboration with represented employees and HSES management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead collective bargaining negotiations across all HSES sites, overseeing the entire negotiation process from strategy development to finalizing agreements.
2. Administer and interpret labor contracts, addressing grievances and arbitrations, and ensuring compliance with union and management practices.
3. Develop and implement strategic labor relations goals, aligning them with division objectives.
4. Serve as Chief Negotiator, collecting data and formulating proposals for collective bargaining sessions.
5. Provide guidance on grievance resolution and conflict management, interfacing with legal counsel as necessary.
6. Stay informed on relevant federal and state legislation, assessing their impact on labor relations and recommending necessary adjustments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in labor relations or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in labor relations is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, is essential.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this role.
Work Environment:
This position is primarily office-based, with a moderate to low noise level. The role may require occasional travel.
Physical Demands:
The role is predominantly sedentary, with minimal physical requirements such as occasional standing or walking.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is competitive, with additional annual bonus potential.
