Logistics Sales Executive/BDM

We are seeking a motivated, self-starter who is eager to learn, EARN, and advance professionally in an ever-growing industry.
We have an immediate need for direct hire candidates to join our rapidly growing sales and operations teams.
Our client takes pride in the high level of expertise and experience their team possesses.

Key Responsibilities:- Identify and vet prospective carriers to build a pipeline of service providers.
- Gather information from clients to determine their shipping needs.
- Obtain shipping quotes from carriers and pass them on to clients.
- Book freight service through carriers for clients.
- Coordinate the pickup and drop off of shipments.
- Monitor the progress of shipments to ensure that goods arrive promptly and undamaged.
- Update customer management software to keep client records accurate.
- Advise clients on potential supply chain issues.
- Extensive knowledge of supply chain management.
- Familiarity with logistics software, customer relationship management software, and spreadsheets.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to find solutions to issues that arise before, during, and after shipments.
- Well-honed negotiating skills to get the best possible quotes for customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with carriers and clients located around the world.
- Analytical skills to determine which carriers offer the right set of services for various clients.
- Networking skills to build relationships with prospective clients and carriers.
- Proven sales skills to obtain new clients and carriers and close shipping deals.
