Job Summary

Pepsi Beverages Company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Merchandiser to join our team. As a Product Merchandiser, you will be responsible for merchandising products within large volume stores, including stocking shelves, rotating shelved product, setting up displays, and organizing and rotating products in storage rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise Store Shelving and Displays: Ensure that store shelves and displays are fully stocked and visually appealing, with products facing forward and at eye level.
  • Rotate Products: Regularly rotate products on shelves and in storage rooms to ensure that older products are sold before they expire.
  • Transport Products: Transport products from storage rooms to shelves and displays, using equipment such as U Boats, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
  • Display Promotional Materials: Display promotional materials such as signs and banners in stores to promote Pepsi products.
  • Maintain Backroom Stock: Keep backroom stock in neat and orderly condition, with products organized by category and facing forward.
  • Communicate with Store Managers and Pepsi Management: Communicate any store issues or concerns to store managers and Pepsi management.
  • Build Customer Relationships: Build relationships with store personnel and customers to ensure that Pepsi products are sold and promoted effectively.
  • Comply with Operating Procedures: Comply with Pepsi's operating procedures, including scan-in/scan-out and following designated routes.
  • Service Accounts: Service accounts during designated times established by management.
  • Deliver Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service, including communication, rapport building, and attentiveness to customer needs.
  • Operate Under Minimal Supervision: Operate under minimal supervision, with the ability to work independently and make decisions.
  • Use Handheld Devices: Use handheld devices to write and input orders.
Requirements
  • Age: 18 years or older.
  • Physical Capabilities: Pass the physical capabilities test (if applicable).
  • Transportation: Have a car or personal transportation to access multi-store locations within assigned shift.
  • Driver's License: Valid U.S. Driver's License.
  • Insurance: Proof of insurance.
Helpful Experience
  • Working in Retail or Grocery: Experience working in retail or grocery, including understanding store operations and inventory management.
  • Moving Products: Experience moving products within a store, including safely stacking and moving products on equipment.
  • Merchandising Products: Experience merchandising products, including filling shelves, building displays, and making products look attractive.
  • Managing Backroom Inventory: Experience managing backroom inventory, including organizing pallets and stacking and storing inventory.
  • Serving Customers: Experience serving customers, including handling customer complaints and responding to customer requests.
