We are seeking a motivated individual with a collaborative spirit to fill the role of Operations Team Leader.
In this pivotal position, you will excel in organizing and streamlining our stockroom operations. As the Operations Team Leader, you will significantly contribute to the visual merchandising of our products. Your positive attitude, creativity, and adaptability will be essential as you support the Assistant Store Leaders in executing operational and visual strategies. You will oversee the merchandising and stock team, ensuring that the sales floor is always well-stocked and inviting for customers. Your organizational skills will keep the stockroom efficient and orderly.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the designated operational team and manage associate tasks in collaboration with the Assistant Store Leader.
- Mentor associates to achieve exceptional performance while maintaining a strong presence in the work area.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Store Leader to train associates on product knowledge, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Stay informed about new initiatives and communicate necessary changes to the team, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Focus on driving sales while maintaining awareness of current product availability.
- Analyze KPI results with Assistant Store Leaders to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Regularly communicate with the relevant Assistant Store Leader to discuss business outcomes and associate performance.
- Ensure customers receive prompt and courteous service by modeling expected behaviors.
Qualifications
- A keen sense of style and a passion for home design.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Experience
- At least one year of experience in customer service or retail.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends for full-time roles.
- For part-time roles, availability to work on weekends and at least one weekday or evening.
